DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A WAIT LIST. THIS IS NOT TBW DISCOVERY CENTER SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION. ONLY PROCEED WITH THIS FORM IF DISCOVERY CENTER SUMMER CAMP IS FULL. THIS WILL PLACE YOU ON OUR WAITLIST.

Wait List Information: If an opening becomes available we will contact you via the phone/email provided on a first come first serve basis by week. Please select all weeks that you are interested in attending. If you are contacted about a spot opening, Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center staff has the prerogative to move to the next patron on the waitlist after 48 hours after contact, if there is no response or action taken. If you are selected and accept to fill an available spot a payment portal link will be sent. Your spot is not confirmed until payment has been accepted. The Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center at the St. Pete Pier is excited to host our summer camp programs to two age groups: our Sea Squirts (ages 6-8) and our Tarpon camp (ages 9-12). Please select a camp week that corresponds with your child's age. Children must be the appropriate age before the chosen camp week.

All camps are week long from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm.

Before/After Care is available (one hour before standard camp hours and one hour after standard camp hours) one flat fee of $100.00. For camp including Before/After Care, please choose the "Plus" price.

Please select your preferred summer camp session(s), fill out all registration information and then proceed to your check-out cart (do not leave the first registration page before you are ready to proceed to your check-out cart or you may lose any filled fields). All starred registration fields are required. Upon checking out you may input your membership discount code. This code is the same for all Tampa Bay Watch summer camps. If you do not have your discount code, and you are a current member, please call 727-291-4103 to obtain your discount code. 

All campers will get a chance to spend time in our exhibit galley, enjoy hands-on labs, snorkel, and spend time on our brand new Eco-boat! Additionally all camps will be themed to keep camp new and interesting for returning Tampa Bay Watch campers! See camp More Information document on our website for more camp details. Sea Squirt Camp (6-8 yo):

    • June 14-18 Animal Exploration
      • Dive into this program to investigate what creatures can be found in the Tampa Bay Estuary. Each day will be dedicated to exploring different types of animals, from slithering snakes to friendly fish.
    • June 28- July 2 "Mythbusters"
      • Don’t believe everything you hear! Do terrapins really cry? Do snakes really hiss? Are manatees really mermaids? Come join our team on a mission to debunk these myths and separate truth from fiction
    • July 12-16 "Hometown Habitats"
      • There are four main habitats found in Tampa Bay. Take a look at these habitats and how humans have interacted with them-in both positive and negative ways.
    • July 26-30 "Mythbusters"
      • Don’t believe everything you hear! Do terrapins really cry? Do snakes really hiss? Are manatees really mermaids? Come join our team on a mission to debunk these myths and separate truth from fiction.

Tarpon Camp (9-12 yo):

 

    • June 21-25 Space Invaders
      • Discover a variety of native plants and animals that call the Tampa Bay Estuary home, as well as some of the competing creatures who have moved into this space from faraway lands.
    • July 19-23 Discovery Diversity
      • Seahorses are great at camouflaging themselves in the seagrass beds! Come discover some of the unique characteristics that animals and plants have that help them to better survive in their environment.
    • August 2-6 "Survivor": TBW Edition
      • Do you have what it takes to be a top predator? Test out your skills as we learn how to thrive and survive in the Tampa Bay Estuary from the best predators and their prey.
