Tampa Bay Watch is recruiting volunteers to shovel and bag oyster shell on November 4, 9 AM - 12 PM at Fort De Soto Park, 3500 Pinellas Bayway South, Tierra Verde, FL 33715. The meeting location is at our shell curing pad which is the first right hand turn (towards the boat ramp) after you pass the tollway entrance to the park.

The project will involve shoveling and bagging recycled oyster shell to be installed at a living shoreline project on a later date. The minimum age to volunteer is 15 years old. Click here to read more about living shorelines.
